Wipeout Pulse is an upcoming racing game for the Sony PlayStation Portable. The game was official announced on March 27, 2007, and is slated to be released sometime in September 2007. The game is also set in the year 2207, two-hundred years after its release.
Features
* Wipeout Pulse will feature 24 new tracks.
* Licensed music from Mason, Loco Dice and Stanton Warriors.
* Multiplayer via Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure.
* Eight new teams, including “EG-X”.
* New “Mag-strip” feature allows ships to magnetically stick to tracks. This will allow certain tracks to feature loops, 90 degree plummets, and various other previously unseen obstacles.
* Custom soundtracks allow playback of MP3s stored on Memory Stick.
* Photo Mode captures in-game screenshots.
* Like Wipeout Pure, the game will feature downloadable content, such as new tracks and songs, immediately after release.
* Includes all the original game modes of WipEout Pure.
* Extra game modes include: Head to Head, Speed Lap, and Eliminator.
* 3 Brand New Weapons with disrupter weapon removed.
* Zone mode will now be playable on the normal tracks instead made for tracks.
